It was such a delight styling Dr Pamela for her 40th birthday photoshoot. Doc decided to have a mummy and me shoot with her cute as a button daughter Toju.
A beauty in and out❤️. For those who know Teju @brushstrokesng they can attest to her love and selflessness. Always putting her wants last, she sacrifices all of herself to ensure everyone around her is happy. For her photoshoot i made it a point of call to put her first. As i said to her repeatedly during the styling process, we are here to celebrate you. I want you to enjoy it❤️. ———————— It was an absolute delight working with the dressmaker @elpismegalio. They transformed the lace fabric which i sourced from @kubisfabrics into this bombshell????????. We went with red lining inside to give the grey and pink iridescent fabric an entirely different look. It definitely popped! The hand beading and pearl detail topped it off????????
I knew what i wanted for Pearl’s shoot and i wasnt prepared to compromise on anything.
I decided to dress Fran in cute and comfy dungarees for her art scene. With pink being the celebrant’s fave color, it was easy to select the perfect sneakers to match her outfit from the various pink options in her closet. Fran spent the week before the photoshoot painting and sketching several masterpieces which serve as the colorful backdrop behind her.
Since i posted grandma E’s shoot, i've gotten tons of enquiries about styling people’s mum’s for their birthdays. There appears to be something wrong with my ‘brain’ when giving the clients an estimate
We had a little wardrobe malfunction 72 hours to the shoot day! And we had to discard her original outfit which was sourced from switzerland. My client @simisolar was already not interested and was on the verge of having a nervous breakdown
